Stew Pork with Christophene and Carrots
Ingredients
- Pork or chicken
- Christophene
- Carrots
- Onions
- Tomato
- Thyme (or green seasoning)
- Garlic
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Sugar ( 2tsp - 2 tbsp)
Instructions
- Cut and season pork with diced onions, tomatoes, thyme, garlic, black pepper and salt.
- Peel and cut vegetables.
- Brown sugar in oil until dark golden and bubbly.
- Add meat and stir quickly to brown.
- Add a small amount of water, cover and cook until done (10-15mins).
- Remove lid and let meat liquid dry out.
- Remove meat and add vegetables to pot.
- Cook vegetables until done, mix with meat and adjust flavour if needed.
