Stew Pork with Foo Chook and Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Pork or chicken (pork takes longer to cook than chicken)
- Foo chook
- Chinese dry mushrooms
- Onions
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Sugar ( 2tsp - 2 tbsp)
- Soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
Instructions
- Soak mushroom and foo chook for at least an hour. Cut into small chunks.
- Cut and season pork
- Brown sugar in oil until dark golden and bubbly.
- Add meat and stir quickly to brown.
- Add a small amount of water, cover and cook.
- Add foo chook and mushrooms and cook until done.
- Remove lid and let meat liquid dry out.
