Spare Ribs in Black Bean Sauce (Piquat)

Ingredients

  • 3lbs Pork spare ribs cut
  • 3 tbsp salted black beans
  • garlic
  • ginger
  • soysauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • black pepper
  • salt (add at end)
  • Green onions (optional)
  • Cilantro (optional)

 

Instructions

  1. Cut spare ribs, if not already cut.
  2. Brown pork in pot.
  3. Add seasonings except salt and simmer until tender (about 45min).
  4. Reduce liquid and add salt if needed.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and/or cilantro.
