Tea biscuits
Plain or cheese
Makes 15-18 biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 4tsp baking powder
- 1tsp salt
- 1/3 cup shortening/butter
- 1cup milk
- Cheese or green onions (optional)
Method
- combine flour, baking powder and salt
- Cut in shortening with two kniveS until consistency of coarse cornmeal
- Make a well in he center and add all liquid and stir
- Knead lightly
- Roll out and cut
- Place on baking paper
- Bake at 450F for 12-15 mins or until lightly browned
