Floats
Makes approximately 3 dozen
Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 1tsp yeast
- 2tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 salt
- 4tsp baking powder
- 2tbsp lard/shortening
- 1 1/2 water
Method
- Make yeast happy with sugar
- Add other ingredients.
- Knead into a soft dough
- Let sit for minimum 1/2 hour
- Seperate into balls
- Flatten into circles and let rest
- Deep fry until golden brown and floating
