Foo Chook Soup

Ingredients

  • Chicken Bones
  • Celery
  • Onions
  • Ginger
  • Foo chook
  • Dried mushrooms
  • Dried plums (optional)
  • Chicken meat
  • Funcy
  • Black fungus (optional)
  • Kum choi

 

Instructions

  1. Thaw bones and boil.
  2. Let cool and skim off grease (optional)
  3. Pre-soak Chinese mushrooms and foo chook.
  4. Add celery, onions and ginger to stock. Let simmer.
  5. Add foo chook, mushrooms, dried plums and black fungus to stock and let simmer for at least an hour.
  6. Add meat and cook for about 15mis or until done.
  7. Add funcy if desired.
