Chili
Ingredients
- 1 can red beans or left over cooked beans
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can diced tomatoes or 2 fresh diced tomatoes
- Chili powder
- Cumin
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Onions
- Green pepper
- Onions
- Garlic
- Cilantro
Instructions
- Fry the ground beef and remove grease.
- Add the seasonings, beans and tomatoes.
- Let simmer for 2 hours or until the beef and beans are tender or put in a slow cooker.
- Serve with rice, bread, cornbread, cornmeal muffins or corn chips.
Variations:
- Can use ground turkey or pork.
