Potstickers (dumplings)
Ingredients
- 1lb pork
- 1lb potsticker wrappers
- water chestnuts
- dried chinese mushrooms
- carrots
- green onions
- soy sauce
- sesame oil
- salt
- black pepper
- sugar
- cornstarch (in some water)
Instructions
- Add seasonings to meat.
- Beat with some water until smooth, then add waterchestnuts, mushrooms, carrots and green onions.
- Fill wrappers using water to seal edges.
- Fry potstickers or freeze after wrapping.
- To Fry:
- With oil in pan, throw in dumplings to sizzle. Add water, cover and turn down heat. Dry off and brown to desired brownness
- Any extra meat can be used to make pork burgers or stuffed mushrooms.
