Paula's Roti

Paratha or Buss up shot

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Flour
  • 4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Warm Water

 

Method

  1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together and make a well
  2. Add water and knead until just combined into a smooth soft dough
  3. Put 1 tbsp oil in hands and smooth over dough
  4. Let it rest 1 hour
  5. Roll into four balls and let it rest for 1/2 hour
  6. Combine ghee and margarine in a bowl
  7. Flatten balls and oil with ghee and margarine mixture
  8. Roll into cones and push in top and bottom and rest 1 hour
  9. Flatten and roast on iron
  10. Beat with wooden spoon
