Paula's Roti
Paratha or Buss up shot
Ingredients
- 4 cups Flour
- 4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Warm Water
Method
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt together and make a well
- Add water and knead until just combined into a smooth soft dough
- Put 1 tbsp oil in hands and smooth over dough
- Let it rest 1 hour
- Roll into four balls and let it rest for 1/2 hour
- Combine ghee and margarine in a bowl
- Flatten balls and oil with ghee and margarine mixture
- Roll into cones and push in top and bottom and rest 1 hour
- Flatten and roast on iron
- Beat with wooden spoon
