Moussaka

Moussaka

Ingredients

  • Zucchini
  • Eggplant
  • Potato
  • Garlic
  • Mixed dry herbs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Ground beef
  • Green peppers
  • Onions
  • Parsley
  • Dried greek seasoning
  • Prepared brown gravy mix
  • Bechamel sauce
  • Parmesan  cheese

 

Instructions

  1. Slice zucchini, eggplant and potatoes. Season with herbs, salt, black pepper and garlic. Grill until browned and still crispy (do not fully cook).
  2. Cook ground beef and drain grease. Add onions, peppers, parsley, garlic, salt, black pepper, dried greek seasoning and brown gravy mix. Cook until dried.
  3. Layer vegetables, then meat in a baking dish.
  4. Make a thick bechamel sauce and place on top of meat layer. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake at 375F and until browned.
