Cranberry sauce with orange and ginger

I package fresh cranberries

3/4 cup white sugar

juice of one orange. 

1 teaspoon grated orange rind

1/2 teaspoon grated ginger 

wash cranberries and drain well. Put berries in  pot with all other ingredients. Heat on medium heat stirring until bubbling and all sugar melts and sauce thickens. Takes 5-10 minutes  to cook. Do not smash all berries as whole berry sauce is better than jelly.. Pour Into a clean jar to cool. Store in fridge.
