Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

AKA Nutella!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tbsp Coconut Oil (or any mild oil)
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Roast hazelnuts in the oven 30-40 minutes at 275F (135C)
  2. Let cool then peel off skins
  3. Blend nuts until butter forms
  4. Add other ingredients and continue to blend until smooth
  5. Add more oil if too thick
  6. Store at room temperature
