Har Kow

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Wheat Starch
  • 2 heaped tbsp Tapioca Starch
  • 2 ¼ Chinese Soup Bowls Water (2 ½ cups)

Instructions

  1. Bring water to boil in a pot.
  2. Add water to flour, stir and cover.
  3. Knead, putting a little oil on hands to keep from burning.

Filling

  • 2 lbs Shrimp, chopped
  • 1 ½ lb Water Chestnuts, chopped finely
  1. Season with salt, white pepper, sesame oil, ¼ tsp vetsin powder, 1 ½ tsp cornstarch and chives. 

Steam for 10 minutes (12 minutes if frozen)
